We need to know HIM so we may glorify HIM -

“....That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:6 KJV)

That we may gain spiritual strength -

“....For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” (Ephesians 3:14-17 KJV)

Because IF we know HIM, we will be delivered from the power of spiritual darkness -

“....We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you....Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Jesus Christ) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.” (Colossians 1:3, 12-15 KJV)

Because HE will give us the spirit of wisdom, and open our eyes to the spiritual truths -

“..That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.” (Ephesians 1:17-21 KJV)

Because HE will comfort us in all of our troubles -

“....Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” (II Corinthians 1:2-4 KJV)

Having given US the great hope of attaining eternal life through the resurrection of HIS Son, Jesus Christ, from the dead!

“....Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.” (I Peter 1:3-5 KJV)

And in this life, to be blessed with all spiritual blessings!

“....Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:2-3 KJV)

Why do we need to know the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ? Because HE is not honored as God by Christianity today. The Apostle Paul calls HIM -

the unknown god.

“....Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, ‘Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, ‘TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.’ Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all, life and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on ALL the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’ Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead (Deity) is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness bythat man (Christ) whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.’” (Acts 17:22-31 KJV)

This Unknown God is the creator of the whole heavens and the earth, that is, the Universe, and all of the natural kingdom that is found therein!

“....I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee though thou hast not known me: that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.....Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.....I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.” (Isaiah 45:5-6, 8, 12 KJV)

“....So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1: 27 KJV)

“....Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.” (Isaiah 40:28 KJV)

The fact that humanity stopped worshipping HIM, and started to worship false gods, and eventually made statues of human beings that they worshipped as God, inspired the Apostle Paul to comment,

“....Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature (what God had created) more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” (Romans 1:25 KJV)

The Apostle John, who became the John who wrote the Book of Revelation, calls HIM -

the lord god omnipotent,

which means He is the God of UNLIMITED or INFINITE POWER.

“....And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.” (Revelation 19:6 KJV)

The Apostle Paul also calls God –

the blessed and only potentate,
the king of kings and lord of lords,

of whom Jesus Christ will testify at His second coming.

“....That thou keep this comandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall show, who IS the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” (I Timothy 6:14-16 KJV)

What does “Potentate” mean?

“Potentate - 1) One who possesses great power. 2) A sovereign, monarch, or ruler.” (The AmericanCollege Dictionary)

“Potentate - 1) A person who possesses great power or sway. 2) A prince, a sovereign, an emperor, king, or monarch.” (New Webster’s Dictionary of the English Language)

Of all of God’s names, the one that gives the believer the greatest opportunity for spiritual intimacy is the name known as –

the father

We must learn to know God, not only as the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, but also as our Father, to whom we pour out our hearts in prayer, to whom we turn, whether in thankfulness or anxiety, in sorrow or joy, throughout our life. We must learn total dependence upon HIM, as much as a natural toddler depends on the earthly parent, for HE holds our very life in HIS hands. Many people, through the years, have considered themselves deeply religious, and yet, have never cultivated this ‘Fatherly’ relationship with their Maker. Most people keep HIM ‘at arms length,’ that is, somewhat removed in their lives. We have even heard lifetime Bible students say, “HE seems so far away.”

The Doctrine of Incarnation teaches that God is Jesus, and totally ignores The Father. Many people, who consider themselves Christians, pray to Jesus, and end it in Jesus’ Name, leaving The Omnipotent, THE GOD OF INFINITE POWER, as if HE didn’t exist.

Contained within the name ‘FATHER,’ is the SOURCE OF ALL LIFE, now and Eternally.

First in the natural sense,

“....(God) neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things....” (Acts 17:25 KJV)

And then in the spiritual, Eternal sense,

“....These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know THEE, the only true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.’” (John 17:1-3 KJV)

HE is called -

the most high god - the highest

There are many ‘Gods’ in this world. The Japanese people, for many generations before World War II, actually believed that their Emperor was God. The U.S. forces, as part of the agreement to put an end to those hostilities, forced Hirohito to admit his mortality, in a nationwide address to the Japanese people.

In other ways, many things can be a ‘god’ to people. Some literally worship the ground that their ‘idol’ walks upon. Elvis Presley and his Graceland Mansion is a good example. Princess Diana is another. Money is the object of worship for many rich people, with their whole focus in life, the obsession with the accumulation of ‘more.’ The method of the accomplishment of their goal may be illegal, or immoral, but that is not even considered. The end result justifies the means. In some families, the children are worshipped, to the extent that they can do ‘no wrong,’ even though they are guilty of lawless, wicked deeds.

Most Kings and Queens enjoy a ‘godly’ worship or adulation from their subjects. Some Rulers, some Emperors, some Dictators, and some Presidents rule ABSOLUTELY, that is, their word is the final word, whatever they say immediately becomes law, and their subjects are terrified to disobey. In those unfortunate nations, there is no higher authority on earth to appeal a decision.

Some religious leaders are looked upon as God, such as the Pope. He represents himself as Christ’s Vicar on Earth even though he is a mortal man, and all nations, all religions, all leaders, all kings and queens, all presidents, yes, the whole world, regardless of their personal religious convictions, defer all the honor and glory to him, when they are in his presence. Indeed, the presence of the Pope is so overwhelming to the mass of humanity, that the other officials present are hardly noticed at all. In times of crisis, or for decisions on international concerns, even the non-Catholic nations on the earth send emissaries to the Vatican, for advice, and the stamp of approval on their plans. Finally, we have the religious cult leaders, to whom their followers give blind, mindless worship and obedience, even to a suicide death.

The Apostle Paul talks about these ‘Gods,’ as follows:

“….For though there are, indeed, Gods so called, whether in Heaven or on Earth; (as they are many Gods, and many Lords;) yet to us there is but One God, the FATHER, out of whom are all things, And we for him; And One Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him. But this KNOWLEDGE is not in all…” (The Emphatic Diaglott, Greek to English, I Corinthians 8:5-7)

Is it any wonder that the Lord God Omnipotent, THE GOD OF INFINITE POWER, is called THE MOST HIGH – THE HIGHEST? HE is so far superior to any that is called ‘God,’ that it is pathetic to even try to compare them.

“....Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet. ‘Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: What house will ye build me?’ saith the Lord: ‘or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things?’” (Acts 7:48-50 KJV)

“....And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, ‘Blessed be Abram ofthe most high God, possessor of heaven and earth.’” (Genesis 14:18-19 KJV)

“....He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, ‘How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?’ And the angel answered and said unto her, ‘The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.’” (Luke 1:32-35 KJV)

John the Baptist’s father, Zacharias testified of the important role his son was to play in the preparation work before Jesus started His mission, thusly,

“....And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.” ( Luke 1:76-77 KJV)

In the Hebrew language, HE is called -

el shaddai, meaning god almighty

as HE also calls HIMSELF. Indeed, this name of God means exactly what it says, and its use is mostly limited to the beginning and the end of recorded history. As ‘God Almighty,’ it appears only in three of the books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, and Revelation. As ‘The Almighty,’ this name appears mostly in Job, and very sparingly otherwise, in six other books. It was given to the Israelites as an assurance of God’s UNLIMITED, INFINITE POWER, that they could depend upon throughout the history of Humankind. This name carries with it, the promise of Help, that HE will not forsake HIS people, but rather, HE will see them through trials and tribulation, and finally, into HIS Kingdom.

“....And when Abraham was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, ‘I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.’” (Genesis 17:1-2 KJV)

At the end of the world, after the Tribulation, at Judgment Day, John the Revelator tells of the praise that the holy people will give the Lord God Almighty.

“....Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.” (Revelation 11:17-18 KJV)

“....And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy. For all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” (Revelation 15:3-4 KJV)

“....And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.” (Revelation 16:7 KJV)

In Hebrew, HE is also called -

jehovah, meaning lord - supreme ruler.

The Hebrew language originally spelled Jehovah as YHWH. In order to make this name pronounceable, the vowels ‘e’ and ‘a’ were added, changing the spelling to Yahweh, which is the divine, sacred name for God. This gradually came to be spelled and pronounced JEHOVAH. The prophet Moses testifies about this name that God calls HIMSELF.

“....And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, ‘I am the Lord: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.’” (Exodus 6:2-3 KJV)

David, the King of the Israelites, and the author of many of the Psalms, writes,

“....That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth!(Psalms 83:18 KJV)

The Prophet Isaiah, in a song, counsels us to -

“....Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:....” (Isaiah 26:4 KJV)

“….Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: For the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2 KJV)

HIS Name is also called -

jehovah zebaoth, which means lord of hosts,

in the Hebrew language, which spells it as YAHWEH TSABAA’OWT. This name is nearly always mentioned in connection with God’s action of Recompense, Unlimited Power, Justice, and Vengeance, and symbolizes all of these powers, and more. This name symbolizes the ultimate conquering of God over Satan and his forces, in the war between the God Powers, known as Armageddon. There are literally hundreds of references pertaining to this magnificent name of God, the meaning of which will be so forcefully demonstrated at the very end of time. No one who witnesses this Name of God will ever question the identity of God again. We choose these few passages to illustrate the meaning of this wonderful name of God.

“….I prayed unto the Lord, saying, ‘Ah Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: The Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, is his name, Great in counsel, and mighty in work: For thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings….’” (Jeremiah 32:16-19 KJV)

“….The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.” (Isaiah 13:4-11 KJV)

“….Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. ‘And they shall be mine,’ saith the Lord of hosts, ‘In that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.’ Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God, and him that serveth him not.” (Malachi 3:16-18 KJV)

“….The Lord of hosts shall defend them….And the Lord their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.” (Zechariah 9:15-16 KJV)

Jesus Christ, God’s Son, at the time that He was seized, told of the great force of power that God could summon in His defense, in Matthew 26:53 (KJV), as follows:

“….Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

The Hebrew language also calls HIM -

elohim, meaning supernatural power.

In His agony on the cross, Jesus Christ called upon ELOHIM as one forsaken.....

“....And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘ELOI(M), ELOI(M), lama sabachthani?’ which is, being interpreted, ‘My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?’” (Mark 15: 34 KJV)

In The Interlinear Bible, a direct Hebrew to English translation, this name is actually spelled ELOHIYM. Therefore, the similarities in the anguished cry of Jesus Christ on the Cross, and the Hebrew spelling of this name of God, lead us to be convinced this was Jesus’ cry to His Father, when He was in the position of calling for the help that ONLY God could give.

The Apostle Paul tells us why we need the POWER, MIGHT and STRENGTH that this name of God represents.

“....Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” (Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV)

The name Elohim also means absolute deity in Hebrew, according to ‘A Cyclopaedia of Biblical Literature’ by John Kitto, D.D., F.S.A. See the Article under ‘God.’

When instructing the Prophet Moses to tell the Israelites who HE is, God called HIMSELF -

I am

and we had better believe it. Whatever HE calls HIMSELF, HE is the only personification of that name, and all it represents. In the English language, this name can serve as the prefix for any of HIS names, and therefore, this name encompasses them all. The literal Hebrew translation is, “I continue to be, and will be, what I continue to be, and will be.”

“....And Moses said unto God, ‘Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?’ And God said unto Moses, ‘I AM THAT I AM’: and he said, ‘Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.’” (Exodus 3:13-14 KJV)

In the Greek language, God also calls HIMSELF –

alpha and omega, meaning the beginning & the end,

or ‘the first and the last’ of the Grecian Alphabet. This signifies that HE has reigned as the Almighty from “the beginning to the end ” of the creation, and as its Creator, having alwaysexisted prior to it, is Eternal, and always will be so.

“‘....I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending,’ saith the Lord, ‘which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.’” (Revelation 1:8 KJV)

“….And he said unto me, ‘It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.’” (Revelation 21:6-7 KJV)

“....Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; ‘I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.’” (Isaiah 44:6 KJV)

The Prophet Daniel had a vision in which God is called -

the ancient of days.

This name also was given to describe God as Eternal, having been in existence always and forever.

“....I saw in the night visions, and behold, one like the Son of mancame with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (Daniel 7:13 KJV)

“....Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” (Daniel 7:22 KJV)

“....I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” (Daniel 7:9-10 KJV)

The Apostle Paul calls God -

the majesty in the heavens.

HIS Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, sits at HIS right hand side. Our Heavenly Majesty, The King of the whole Universe, ‘dwells in the light which no man can approach unto, whom no man hath seen, nor can see,’ according to I Timothy 6:14-16 (KJV).

“....Now of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens.” (Hebrews 8:1 KJV)

“....God, who at sundry times and in divers(e) manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days, spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (Hebrews 1:1-3 KJV)

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is -

HE doesn’t want HIS people worshipping any other god but HIM.

“....Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.” (Exodus 34:12-16 KJV)

the lord god is HIS name forever!

“....And God said moreover unto Moses, ‘Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel. The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.’” (Exodus 3:15 KJV)

The Twenty Four Books Of The Holy Scriptures, the Isaac Leeser Hebrew to English Old Testament, calls HIM ‘The Everlasting One,’ in the quotation of the above verse.

“….In order that they may believe that there hath appeared unto thee the Everlasting One, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”

“....Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; The Lord is his name.” (Amos 5:8 KJV)

HE is god alone!

“....Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. ‘Ye are my witnesses,’ saith the Lord, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.’” (Isaiah 43:9-12 KJV)

“....I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.....For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.....Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” (allegiance). (Isaiah 45:5-6, 18, and 22-23 KJV)

“....Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. And who, as I shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them show unto them. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know not any.’” (Isaiah 44:6-9 KJV)

HE will not give, or share HIS Glory with another!

“….I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8 KJV)

“….For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it; for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. Harken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together….Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the (Incarnation doctrine of the) Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, ‘The Lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob.’ And they thirsted not when he led them through the desert: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.” (Isaiah 48:11-13, 20-21 KJV)

“Holy and reverend” is HIS Name!

The book, ‘Babylon Mystery Religion,’ by Ralph Woodrow Evangelistic Association, points out that some priests and ministers have commonly taken these descriptive phrases which should only be applied on God, and instead, use these words as titles applied on themselves, such as “Holy,” or “Most Holy,” and even more universally, “Reverend.”

“....He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name!” (Psalms 111:9 KJV)

All these names of God Almighty have their own special, symbolic meanings, and especially pertained to the specific periods of time in Biblical history that they were made manifest to the Israelites. Yet, these names that glorify God are always applicable upon HIM, and indeed, all shall be used in the future, to Introduce to the masses, to Honor and to Glorify THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

In summary, we wish to quote the following verses as a testimonial of our most precious Faith.

“….There is one body (of believers), and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord (Jesus), one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV)
